When it comes to making a success of your coaching business, can you do it on your own? For that matter, can anyone succeed at anything completely on their own? My answer to these questions is a definitive…
“yes” & “no”
No, we can’t succeed completely on our own. We need support, coaching, people on our team, etc. We need to leverage the wisdom & experience of other people in order to “short cut” the learning curve. We need other people to believe in us in those moments when we’ve given up on ourselves.
Sometimes we even need divine intervention!
But, the answer is ultimately “yes”! We can & ultimately if we do succeed (at our personal goals) we do so on our own. We are the ones who must make our decisions, attract & hire the right support for ourselves, seek out & pay for the “short cut” advice & training, etc.
“If it is to be, it is up to me.”
That’s why if my clients thank me for helping them reach their goals, I always take some of the credit, but ultimately shift it back to the client, because at the end of the day, they are the ones “making it happen.” They are the ones who put themselves on the line & really go for it.
There are plenty of people in this world who “talk a good game” vs. the “few who do”. The ones that get up early if they need to, or spend their hard earned cash to learn what they need to know.
Wherever you are in your coaching business, you are already a success for showing up & getting in to the game (In my opinion, the greatest game ever played). You are already a success for having taken the steps that have gotten you this far along your path.
Now I’m asking you to take another step. For you to achieve the next level of success for yourself & your coaching business, you are going to need to dig a small deeper & grow a small bigger (maybe even a lot bigger).
