These are all cheap little certs wth a very short market lifetime.
A university degree — eg Computer Engineering Technology — lasts an entire career.

If you want to work tech support at a call center…Get the certifications…Get a degree if you want to expand the types of jobs you can get…

Both. A degree is pretty much required, and certifications are very helpful. If you do not wish to attend a school, I am sure you can find an online degree granting program to save time and a bit of money. Additionally, there is a free online university, fairly new, called University for the people, http://www.uopeople.org/ , which is an online educational degree granting program. I only say this because it offers both a business administration or an IT/computer science degree. It is based on collaborative, online participation, group discussion and learning. i personally think this is the way of the future (or a much more effective means of learning). Also, it offers both a 2 year and 4 year sequence.
(I actually already have a degree, but am seriously considering the IT/comp science degree to strengthen my background in that area).
Email me if you have any further questions or would like any help!
Sincerely,
Daryl Bennett
