I have two BA’s already and want to continue my education online while traveling. How can I make sure the online degree I get is not worthless? ( my BA’s are in mass communication and psychology.)

I am currently enroll in Kaplan University which is located as far as I know in Florida.I live in NYC.If I accomplished my Doctor’s Degree online will I be able to pass test in NYC and become licenced concerning my occupation?What is the value of online education in general?
Will an online degree combined with traditional college diploma have value?

First, I am fully aware that an online school should be fully accreditated for the online degree to be respected. However, will having a 3 Year Business Adminstration Diploma first, then transferring credits from that Diploma to an Online Degree make the degree more respectable.
