MIT introduced free online studies where you get to pay nothing for the course you want. This is according to what I read online. There are other institutions that have also started this.. does the us army recognize a g.e.d and an online high school diploma, as the same thing?

i mean do they view them as both a g.e.d. i know you need a g.e.d. and 15 college credits to enlist now. but if i got my high school diploma online. will they accept that as an accredited high school diploma, and let me enlist?
Is it common to obtain an Associates degree in one thing and a Bachelor’s degree in something else?

I just graduated from high school and am wondering about college a little bit. I’m joining the Navy and am planning on doing college while i’m in. I want to obtain degrees in the business field.
