I will be graduating with a BFA, but recently thought about possibly perusing a graduate degree in Psychology/Therapy/Art therapy.. Would I be able to go to a graduate school to get a degree.. or do I have to go back and get a Bachelors first?

Best answer:

Answer by eri
No. Psychology is the second most popular major and you can’t do anything in it without a masters at least; graduate programs are extremely competitive and won’t accept anything less than a major in psychology.

However, i am not sure whether or not i will be able to finish it. The reason i doubt is i have no parental support. Could anyone help me?

Answer by urbangirl
My suggestion to you would be to apply for scholarships: Which are based on academic achievement (ex: GPA) or a work study program.

Question by : Is it possible to obtain GED completely online?
Well I decided to drop out of school and I have been out for around 3 months now not including summer. I am trying to get a part-time job at the moment. I also want to begin trying to obtain my GED. Is the only way to do this, is by visiting a community College? Or is it possible to do everything required to obtain a GED online?

Thanks,

Best answer:

Answer by eri
No, the GED is not offered online. Any site offering to let you take the GED, ‘their GED’, their ‘GED alternative’, or a single test to get a diploma is a scam. The GED can only be taken in person at a registered testing site, some of which but not all are at community colleges.

Best answer:

Answer by eri
No. The only real GED test must be taken at a testing center determined by your state. You cannot take the real GED online. Many sites offer to let you do so, but they are all scams – that’s not the real GED, it’s not accepted by colleges and employers, and it often costs far more than the real GED.

You can take the real GED at testing centers in your state. It will take a good portion of the day. Google GED testing in your state to find out when and where, and how much it costs.

As the question, i got accept from another university, the university i am going right now is basically high tuition and small campus, and the other one i am applying for is compacting difference university, is that possible to keep to university degree?
.

Best answer:

Answer by Extermation
The best advice is for you to transfer your credits and continue where you left off. Don’t go on to a completely different course, it will be a waste of time.

IMPORTANT. To switch to a different school you must also consider. Is it worth it. Is the school better in its NAME and REPUTATION. If not, don’t bother and waste your time.

Question by nazmul: Is it possible to complete MBA degree with full scholarship from USA with science background?
I have completed Honors degree in physics . so to get a MBA degree from USA what should i do ?

Best answer:

Answer by Prof
It may be possible if you have a high GPA, a GMAT score near 700 or above, and 3-4 years of good work experience. So what you should do is get a job.

Some MBA programs accept students without work experience. Take the GMAT and see if your score is good enough. You may qualify for partial financial aid. Find the program that best fits you in the Official MBA Guide, a free public service. Even with a full scholarship, you would still need about $ 25,000 just for living expenses.

Question by greg t: I am attending job corps soon, is it possible that I can become a police officer after I graduate?
Are there any programs that I can take that can help me get an edge, and what should I major in in college. Secondly, when the a police department hears that I graduated from Job Corps when I apply, would they automatically not consider me for employment? Any help from people with law enforcement or somebody who knows some knowledge on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by just not that
Most police departments won’t hire anyone without a Bachelor’s degree from a university to be a police officer. A Bachelor’s degree is 4 years full time in college. Graduating from Job Corps isn’t going to help you get employment as a police officer…. graduating from a university will.
