1. Are you thinking of k-12 or college level online classes?
Contact your state department of education for requirements, also other certification agencies such as NorthCentral.

2. Try taking a course on how to teach online…. there is even a master’s in this at some universities.

3. If the material is original, certainly copyright it. If it someone else’s work, you need to negotiate releases.

4. You also need to find your niche. One person is not going to generate all the instruction for a degree , let alone several degrees. What are your qualifications?

5. Maybe you can start out with a tutoring service ( still need to check out state requirements) . What are you qualifications?
