It depends on how they are and you would like to approach homeschooling. Theres different styles of education and there is just no way for anyone to tell you whats right for your family.

I use a mixture of products. When I first started homeschooling I only used Alpha Omega- which is good- because you can get placement tests for them and put them in the exact level they need to be. All your lessons are made up already and you have teachers manuals.

Now we use some of the Alpha Omega, Abeka, workbooks I get at the store, the internet and life experiences as well as old text books that school are tossing out.

A real good resource that is invaluable to my family is abcteach.com. They have tons of worksheets, thematics and printable books, and tests. Its real awesome. I think we pay 25 dollars a year and you can download and print as much as you like. Theres also wowio where you can get free ebooks as well and theres many other sites for free homeschooling tools.

On a side note I’d like to be a airline pilot but worry since my eyesight isn’t perfect. Anyone a pilot who can tell me if you indeed must have perfect sight to get in? As for grad school I’m a bit limited since I have an undergrad degree in Business. What are some degrees I can get that will help me get a decent job? Thanks!

Look for an entirely different path.

Engineering.

Asian companies are masters at producing high tech equipment. Perhaps you should look into electrical/mechanical engineering, or product design.

Or maybe advertising.

biology is a good undergrad degree because it is applicable. If not that something in science or math is also good. you could even do something totally random that sounds cool, and just take science and math classes to supplement your education.

You might consider getting an MBA, from a good MBA school. There are some really good MBA programs there in AZ, including Thunderbird and ASU itself.

Most good MBA programs, and most employers of MBAs, prefer that you work full time for 1-2 years between your bachelors and your MBA, but whether you do that or not, make sure you do some internships during your MBA, to help make you more employable.

A “Good Job” in Fool Sale terms might be a part-time screening job in the local cinema.

Full Sail is a for-profit trade school pretending to be a university,. Full Sail does not have regional accreditation. The school has no business offering Bachelor’s degrees.

I don’t know where you live, but you could try Athabasca University in Alberta. They have had an awesome distance education program for over 25 years.
