So I have an AOS in culinary arts in which I earned an A average. I saw this on Wikipedia:
“In the United States and Canada, an associate degree is equivalent to the first two years of a four-year college or university degree.”

How can a non accredited school offer an associates and bachelor degree? Is it it legit?
The reason i am asking is because, my brother is attending Florida CAreer College… I believe it’s non accredited, yet they offer an associates and bachelors degree. How legit is this?

I keep getting all these e-mails for an on-line associates degree for medical transcription and other careers in the healthcare field, I have been tempted to do it but I wanted to know how employers view an online education versus going to the tech/trade school, is the degree online just as valid
