I’m looking to begin taking some online college courses to start gaining credits and working towards a degree. But I’m looking to apply as a transfer applicant to schools for the Fall 2009 semester. Will it be possible then, to transfer to an actual college using these credits and courses? Or is this not accepted by colleges as actual credits? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

IF the online courses are sponsored by an accredited college
and IF the course of study is one that the college you want transfer to has an equivalent it will transfer.
The only way you will know if it transfers is to ask.
An online course is no different that an in class course.
