Postgraduate Certificate = first 60 CAT points of a masters - first semester Posgraduate Diploma = first 120 CAT points of a masters - second semester Masters = 180 points = dissertation An LLM is generally considered to be a continuing professional development programme that does not offer any kind of certification, although you will normally need to be either Law Society or Bar Council accredited to do one.
