I am looking for a good home schooling program?

My sons in grade eleven and he is having some trouble at his current high school (not passing many courses). He wants to do home school or something similar, does anyone know of a good program to use for him, something like home schooling or distance learning? If you could link or give the name of the website that would be awesome! Thanks for all the help. P.S Im from Ontario Canada.

Kaplan Academy. Whatever state you are in will pay for it. kaplanacademy.com is where you can get the info. Im in 9th and I go to Kaplan, they are really cool and the teachers work with you so you can get good grades. Hope you find what you are looking for!

    Try Oak Meadow (oakmeadow.com).

Personally, we like what we’ve seen so far from Oak Meadow. Perhaps your son is not doing well in his current school because he does not think like the “average” kid. Even in thier high school courses, Oak Meadow offers many choices for the student to complete thier work in ways that interet them the most; therefore, ensuring they actually learn.

There are several others out there. Some are worldwide and others not so much. Google would be your best friend. And beware; this search has already consumed me for several months and I’m still finding more information. Have fun!

I have a daughter in grade 11 doing private homeschooling. With this, you can choose courses from many different sources. You can choose what your son is interested in, and what fits his learning style. Some suggestions for a boy that age:
Apologia Science, Saxon Math, My Father’s World, How Great Thou Art, Sonlight Curriculum (if he likes to read), Alpha Omega Switched-On-Schoolhouse, Writing Strands, Beautiful Feet Study Guides (for history/geography)
