Legally, you should be able to be in High School until you reach the age of 21. You definitely want to GO BACK to regular H.S. if you can. If you are already too old, then your school district should offer and adult education program with H.S. classes offered during the night. It’s ALWAYS better to have a H.S. education rather than a G.E.D.; statistics show that, clearly, higher education attempts are more successful if you have completed H.S. ALSO, if you ever wanted to join the armed forces you will have to have graduated to get into the Marines, Air Force, or Navy. The Army is the only branch that currently still accepts the G.E.D. In addition to all of this, it always looks better on any resume’ that you graduated H.S. opposed to obtaining a G.E.D.
