Depending on your area is how the test will be administered I took all five test in one day and it took me about 6 hours to complete them, with breaks inbetween the tests of course. But more places I know give them out individually and you complete them as you go along. EDIT: I advise you to look up fees for the GED because my state (which is Maine) offers it for free statewide. So check into it you might be surprised.
