That was a weird answer because how would anyone know your degree was attained online?
The real answer is that when you get your degree no one will know if you actually attended the college or not. The degree does not say “online” or “attained partially online” so it would rest solely on you if a potential employer were to find out how you accomplished your degree requirements.
After 2 years in traditional college and now 2 years online I would advise that both the traditional brick and mortar and online models have their own distinct pros and cons. The key is to research both and analyze how they directly affect your particular situation. Online classes are definitely helpful if you work many hours or assimilate information better on your own. Brick and mortar classes are helpful for people who require a class atmosphere. If you are unsure you might want to try one or two online classes mixed with traditional classes to get a feel for the online medium.

omg, I’m wondering the same stuff…I’ve been home schooled up til 12th grade, and now I’m sorta stuck. I’ve been told that you have to go to a high school to get a GED. But I never have the time, cause I’m always busy.

I wouldn’t hire someone with such a degree or consider someone with such credentials qualified. A high school diploma at least proves you can show up most of the time. I rate them all roughly like someone who claims to have taken correspondence courses.

If they are a requirement, then they count. Are the students entering in from their BA/BS programs required to take them? If so, then, yes they would count. However, I know for mine, I was told if I retook them for a higher score, then my two tests scores would be combined, so you might want to check into that also.

The college economics should be harder. Probably not insanely tougher, considering it’s online.
The difference is that for the dual enrollment course (I’m assuming the online class in through dual enrollment), you will receive college credits for.

I strongly recommend taking any college course you can in high school because
-it’s cheap
-it counts towards high school and college
-it prepares you for college much more than high school
-you go to college with guaranteed credits (if you pass)!!

I know you can get college credits from AP, but almost everyone I talked to barely got anything from the tests.
