Whats the difference between an accredited online university and one that is not?

I’m thinking of going to college online, but I’m not sure what to look for.

Accredited means it’s acknowledged by most other colleges so you can transfer your credits. If you plan on earning your degree from the not accredited college it doesn’t matter.

Online universities and colleges are Certified, recognized and either regionally or nationally acknowledged or accredited by the accredited agencies and respective authorities that are preferred by the employers as well as organizations so that one is able to get a good job after the completion of his/her online education where as the university that is not accredited/affiliated or certified can not be considered by the organizations.
